USWRA ANNOUNCES THE HIRING OF DELZER
Noblesville, Ind. (February 15, 2005) – The United States Watercraft Racing Association (USWRA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Jim Delzer in the position of New Business Development. Delzer’s responsibilities will include interaction with and assistance to USWRA promoters and racers in developing and implementing a plan of growth for the sport of personal watercraft racing in the United States.
Most recently you have seen Jim in the position of, Director of Promoters and Events for the IJSBA, Motosurf Race Director and World Finals Event Manager. You also may have heard him doing the National Anthem at Motosurf and World Finals.
Delzer has been involved in the motor sport world from early in his life. His past includes PWC in the 440 and 550 days. He also comes with experience in the Motocross world as a competitor and Pro Supercross Manager. In addition, Delzer has a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and trains athletes from various team and individual sports including professional Motocross and Personal Watercraft. Delzer also established a Guinness World Record in 2001 for crossing the United States on a human-powered scooter.
“Jim will be a great addition to the USWRA in helping us move forward with racing and events in the United States,” said USWRA Managing Director Jacque Bryant. “He brings a high level of professionalism and has an established working relationship with our current promoters. We welcome Jim to the team and look forward to future success,” continued Bryant.
